    Hayabusa Stuntcage?

I did a quick Google search and came up with a bunch of links but none panned out so I thought I'd ask here.

While I'm not looking to stunt, I was thinking of a way to come up with alternate locations for pegs to make riding the 'busa long distances (think IronButt rides) even more comfortable.

I happened to spot a cage a day or two ago and a little seed was planted. About an hour ago it sprouted and I thought of it in relation to enhancing my touring pleasure (yea, endurance rides are a pleasure to me ).

Anyway, any specific locations you might point me to? Someone who actually does them in town (I seem to recall a thread a few months back)? I don't need a full on stunt cage, but someone who's done cages before would have the best idea on how to properly fabricate and mount what I'm interested in. Of course if the cost to fabricate my special request is more than premade full cage then I'd have to go with a full cage.

    Thanks.

    Carl

Can't remember the name of the "bike club" that was written up in Westword, but they had an article in there about that company that builds the cages. Perhaps someone here recalls.

Right. I saw the rails on a couple of websites and they're way too high. I'd like to have something like a set of frame sliders and a mini cage, maybe even a mini cage that is mounted inside the plastic but would support a couple of pegs that are a little farther forward.

A local engineering shop, that does a ton of work on car/jeep roll cages might be a good option. These guys have engineering degrees so they make sure its functional, and their work is flawless with the best materials and techniques. I've been blown away with everything ive seen-- cages, custom intake manifolds, custom inter coolers etc. Not cheap, but worth a call.

I hope their work got better, Some of the pictures I saw were not impressive, especially for the price.
