    CSC Trackday by the numbers

    63 riders (including coaches)
    6 full hours of riding
    1 crash
    0 major injuries

    Fees collected= $6393.50
    Cost of Pueblo= $5758.00
    Paypal fees = $118.42

Money donated to the Gene Fund in the name of the CSC = $517.08

For those of you that don't already know it the Gene Bazyl fund was started last year as a way of generating some capital to improve track safety in Colorado. There have been many generous contributions to this fund in the past year and now you are a part of something that makes it better for all of us. Thank you for participating. I'm looking forward to next year.

Nice work people! I will be cutting a check to Joe for the Gene fund tomorrow evening.

    Great Job Scott--

I will add this. Scott and I put together the t-shirts for the event. I know in my tool box I have some money to give you scott....found it unloading (sorry my head was not with it there..hehe)
If anyone got a t-shirt and has interest in helping pay for them that would be great.
I know Scott didn't ask for money but they did cost to make. He is just a GREAT guy and wanted to get them to everyone.
Stan's Automotive is going to cover some of the expense and I know I have payment for 2 shirts in my toolbox for you scott.
If you want to get me a check just take $100 off the total on the onvoice and I will pay that from Stan's. Maybe we can get some more dollars from some individuals. Overall this even went GREAT.....even with some one going down pretty good

Yes, please let us know what the shortfall is. No way in hell Scott should be paying for shirts after all he did.

Yes Maam. I would love to be out there riding with everyone. Next time, I'm in! I'll be in the mega super slow group though. (already did the cert)

Also, I didn't really want any of the prizes as I thought the riders of the day should get them. But tell me where to send some cash and I sure will.

It was great day with great people I to will be happy to help out with the t-shirts just let me know
One time I got stopped for speeding on the Colordo Utah boarder
and after a discussion with the Officer about Bannana's, pockets and glad tidings to all he let me off with a warning
and a farewell of "I am always on this strech of highway and I will be watching for you."
My response "I feel so much better knowing that you Officer Pennywise will be looking out for me."
    WAIT WHAT??!!!!!

Re: CSC Trackday by the numbers

The T-Shirts cost $458 to make. I collected about $75 at the track from people just walking up and Stan's is sponsoring $100 (Thanks Curtis) That leaves the balance at $283.

Again, I don't want anyone to feel like they HAVE to do anything here, I did this on my own and didn't really tell anyone it was happening. I didn't want to take anything away from the Gene fund to make t-shirts happen, but thought having t-shirts for the day would be pretty cool.

If you want to help out, it's greatly appreciated. Thanks Curtis for making the shirts happen!

Scott, in addition to everything you did in making this event happen, getting t-shirts made was over the top!

Like I said last week when I found out about it, I'll help you out with the cost. I have a significant chunk of change with your name on it. See you tonight.

Damn. I can't believe that many people walked off with shirts and you only got $75, especially since I gave you $20. I'll pony up another $50 now and see how others respond. If more is needed I'll kick some more in.

Those who have already given me some money for shirts....please do not give more...You've done your part, thank you. (Dirk, Jay several others, this means you)

If for some reason we come up with more money than the shirts cost I'll dontate the excess back to the Gene fund.

Brian- Thank you...I'll be there, don't worry

    Scott,

Please post your address so I can send some $$$. I agree with everyone, NO WAY should you come up with anymore.

    YOU ROCK KIDDO,
    Ene

    P.S.
We need to get our heads together about more exclusive CSC days. I am already booking 2008 and you or whoever wants to step up needs to get together, have a fresca or two (he-he) and give me some idea of when. Right now I may be able to do 2 events.

    1. A spring season kickoff

    2. A fall classic ride.

Before all the Saturday/Sunday days are taken just let me know. I'm already limited but you guys are the best. Yeah, alright you winked, you smiled, you hugged and guess what "it worked". Just let me know.

Re: CSC Trackday by the numbers

So I went down to the BWW event and there is certainly some interest in a 2 CSC trackdays for next year.

ENE I'll be in touch with you by e-mail to work out dates, but kind of want to wait to see how the MRA season shapes up as I won't be able to coordinate an event on one of those weekends. I'm guessing you know what weekends the MRA will be at Pueblo. Anyways look for an e-mail today.

BTW...thanks to everyone I saw last night who helped out with the t-shirts. Another $155 was collected leaving $128 to go.
