    Valve Adjustment?

I was told a while ago that I needed a valve adjustment but then someone else told me I really shouldn't need one. My bike has 7k miles on it. Are there any signs that I should look for that would tell me if I need an adjustment? Thanks.

I don't know what your intervals are but look at the manual to see when you need your valve clearance checked. You may or may not need adjustment, but feeler gauges are by far the best way to know.

Checking them is easy piece of mind, changing shims out is where the extra time hits.

I only have this reference, but it looks like 15000 mi. Peace of mind is sometimes well worth it. http://www.aperaceparts.com/tech/05gsxr600.html
