    modern vintage GTU
    modern vintage GTO
    middleweight supersport
    middleweight superbike

    Depends on how "late model" it is. If it's 10yrs old or older, modern vintage would be a fun class for you if you get the ok to run it. The only classes open to you (barring getting approval from the new rider director) are novice gtu & gto, amateur gtu & gto and sportsman.

    U = 600(ish) and under, O = open

    Jenny pretty much summed it up. You might find a bit more info in the glossary I set up on the 4 Horsemen Racing site. Click the link in my sig, then click on Glossary if you're interested.

    Doesn't the MRA website have class definitions on it? Get ahold of a rules handbook, they're all spelled out in there...

    No, it is on the website, look on the right under "MRA rulebook"

    Yes they do, but it's not a quick run-down, as was requested by the thread starter, it's an in-depth description of each class.

    Oh! I didn't know you're supposed to read the question. I just go from thread title to last post. It's like CSC cliff's notes.

    You're welcome, and it's not a dumb question at all! I found it confusing at first - I figured a glossary was in order.
