    T
2nd. Lots of days, probably. There's a lot of healing to be done and we're not gonna be able to hurry it up at all from here.

From the closest personal experience(s) I have to his situation, he doesn't want to be awake right now. Once he is breathing on his own, he's going to have some big work ahead of him just to get out of bed. Long days of recovery require strong support from friends. That's when we'll be more useful- not PMs, not email, the kind of support that is on-call and willing to just hang out and talk a bit... and a subscription to MotoGP.com

    for Bob spidey et al,
Quality healing takes time. Lung damage is nasty. Infections and high temps are right there and before you realize it; **fluids collect**

My condolences go out, but would I be out of line asking what happened? Obviously he went down but was it because his tires were cold? Did he high side? Did he go in too hot? Did he hit some gravel?

If you don't like me I'll shave your cat, steal your extension cords, not limited to your multiple supply outlet adapters and raid your fridge. Please don't let this inhibit you from contacting me, just be mortified;-p

There was some accidental contact with another rider going into turn 8 (not sure beyond that, didn't see it), he went into the dirt, and couldn't stop before a dirt berm. He hit the berm and got launched.
