    Re: Spider Bob Condition Thread

Ralph and I went to visit Bob tonight. He said and I quote "I need to stop crashing so much."

He also told me to post that he can get text messages on his phone. He said you can tell him hi if you have his number. He does not have wireless internet and probably will not before he leaves.

Somebody send him over a cute nurse. He hasn't seen one in a while! Anybody here get a nurses costume for the holiday? C'mon, anybody? (Well, at least somebody of the female persuasion.)

We're more worried about other things right now. But we think he has maybe another week there before he can start recovering at home, so it probably isn't worth going to extremes to hook Internet up. He can read stuff on his phone, he just can't reply too well.

    Re: Spider Bob Condition Thread

I don't know who this Spider Bob dude is, but I think he should learn how to ride and stop crashing!

Seriously tho, I'm finding out details of what happened, the extent of my injuries, and I'm suprised I'm as well off as I am. So well, in fact, that they may send me home this weekend already!

I'm still not, and won't be, near 100%, but I'd like to thank everyone for their thoughts, prayers, donations & offers for help! Words cannot even begin to describe how touched I am!

Since things are how they are, I'm going to skip public posting of visitation information, try and let them do their thing here at the hospital, and get outta here ASAP. Maybe we'll coordinate some dinners/happy hours here and there over the next few weeks as things unfold.

    Thanks again, everyone!

It's so good to finally hear from you, Bob! The above sounds like a good plan, healing up and getting outta there. And, as Jay said, we North-Central CSCers have a special card for you.

    Hey Bob-

Posted a couple on MRA, so I'll make sure you get this here too. Aren't you glad you're Canadian??? With the exchange rate, you only wadded yourself up .73 of what it would have been if you were a US citizen.

Seriously, Teri and I are glad you're doing better, and believe me, the fun scale went flat line while we watched them cart you off to the hospital!!!

Jim and all of us with TFOG are waiting to hear that your out and about, so we'll see you soon.

    Cheers-

    Fred
