    Dave,

I'm sorry to hear that you *MIGHT* not be able to make it. It is all about Bob, but it doesn't hurt that we get to have some fun while helpin' a brother out! See if you can get the day off, we'd love to have you there!

    Be well!

Re: Fundraising Trackday To Benefit SpiderBob

What time does this big shin-dig get started anyhow? I am sure Track Days normally start pretty early, but we have to take the November-ness into account. I will probably go down to Colorado Springs and spend the night at my parents house, so I don't have to go soo far. One other thing, Can we pay with credit cards or cash only? (I am willing to pay the 3% + .30)

    Tommy,

There will be a webpage up for paypal that you can use a credit card on soon. We MIGHT (no promises here) have the ability to take a card at the track, but that isn't known quite yet. Stay tuned for the "how to pay for your spiderbob trackday" thread coming to a forum near you soon!

As far as start time, usually the track goes hot at 8 AM. We will be over the DST boundary by then, so there will probably be more than enough light. Temperature that AM will be the deciding factor.

Re: Fundraising Trackday To Benefit SpiderBob

    A couple things:

    1. I will start a separate thread soon with details on how to pay online, i.e. with credit card. That will guarantee your spot. Like Rybo said we *might* be able to take CC at the track, that is not for sure yet.

    2. We are not going hot at 8am, it will be a bit later. We need time to get crews out there, set up, etc, and since we aren't paying anyone to be there I can't very well require crews to be at the track by 6:30-7. Remember, there are a LOT of volunteers stepping up to stand there in whatever weather we are dealt, to make sure everyone else has a safe, fun time.

Sweetie, seems to me that the list has been lost in the mass.

Do you think it reasonable to list "the updated list" at the top of the page? Just my .02. Lots of folks won't scan the entire thread so just a thought.

All of you, MY bike kids, ROCK !!! Yep, I get possessive real quick (but hate to be possessed).

Anyway, I was contacted about the drawing for the 2008 weekday track rental donation from PMP.

We have "revised" it a little. For those of you who absolutely cannot join all us crazy at the track that day, you can still get in on the deal. Contact Joe. If you make a minimum donation to the Bob fund, we will put your name on a ticket and you'll be in the drawing. So, there's no reason to feel left out. Remember this is for one of ya and we at PMP want Bob worrying about the cute nurses not bills.

Are you going to ride or just come take photos? The list right now is for riders and we'd love to see you out on the track!

Like D said, I plan on being there. I'll be jealous of everybody riding, but I'm glad that I'm in a position that allows me to even just be there.
