    Spies to MotoGP? Hmmmmmm.....

As the only guy to beat Mladin straight up, for 2 years running no less, I wanna see him make the move. I think he'd do a better job than Hayden. To have Spies AND Hopkins on the 'Zuki MotoGP team....... Too bad Hopkins defected for the $$ to a mid-pack team....

Spies is too big for the 800cc grand prix machines. Plus he's lazy, that won't cut it at the GP level.

Kawi is "mid-pack" because of its rider's not its bike

Lazy enough to beat everyone in AMA!

Hey, if that kinda speed is lazy, sign me up!

Well, we'll see. I kinda think it's both. Face it, the 990cc GSV-R sucked, but the new 800 is a consistent podium finisher. I don't think Kawi's quite there yet. I would like to see that tho, as I think it'd be way interesting to have all the teams very competitive. Hell, I'd love to see the KR and the Ilmor do well. I DO like the green color though!

    Re: Spies to MotoGP? Hmmmmmm.....

I read an article about Spies in this month's road racer and even though he's fast as hell (I'm not doubting that) his work ethic was less than admirable. Nicky is far more talented than Spies and has 3x the work ethic seeing as how he is usually turning the most laps during tests.

Spies (like Maladin) will fail in GP and end up in SBK at best.

I think the Kawi will be a lot more competitive next year. The bike is able to compete, West and DePuniet just don't have the consistency to bring it there. Thus HOPPER in 08 kids!
