    Race bodywork

Do I need a fairing stay to put on race bodywork for the track?

Are you asking if it is required or if it is a necessary part you need because you are getting a race body?

Do I need it to put on the bodywork or is it something extra for racing. I want to use race bodywork for track days and take it off after.

Your factory stay will probably work then. People replace them because they don't hold up well in crashes. Racing ones are cheaper and some are component replaceable. But you will need something up there.
