When I left my house this morning it was 39.8. 40 deg is my threshold. But when I got to work, I-25 and Colorado, wunderground.com listed the neighborhood at 23 deg. Its still only 26 deg over here.

32 when I left this morning. Still felt pretty good Saw a couple of patches of ice on university from runoff where people where watering their yards.

I'll reply to this thread when my fingers defrost.
hahaha. You should REALLY look into snow mobile gloves for riding in the cold. They are AWESOME!. I prefer the supercross style snowmobile gloves. You can get them REALLY cheap at Dennis Kirk.

Do not put off living the life you dream of. Next year may never come. If we are always waiting for something to change...
Retirement, the kids to leave home, the weather or the economy, that's not living. That's waiting!
Waiting will only leaves us with unrealized dreams and empty wishes.
It's all in the grips
The ride was fine. All 5 minutes of it.

Do I really have to put antifreeze back in the bike? I park in the garage at night. Could my engine really freeze?
No problems. It was about 34 according to the temp gauge on the bike at the coldest. It was awesome coming over the hill and seeing all the fog from Broomfield to the foothills. Once you got down into it though it was crazy. Idiots who don't think it's necessary to turn their GD lights on! But I was toasty warm with the Gerbing's and heated grips. Looks like this'll work out well (I added the heated grips back in March). I have the materials to create a lap "blanket". Tonight I'll probably put the first parts on the bike to see how it goes tomorrow.
Looking forward to colder days.

This morning wasn't too bad. The crisp air lets me wake up faster anyway . But I do need to look into gloves as the summer ones with vents were a bit "breezy" for some reason.
Head over to the GIANT sporting goods store off 76 and check out the smowmobile gloves, then buy them at Dennis Kirk online

Hit the ranch supply store over the weekend. Mmmm, flannel lined heavy weight jeans and thick wool socks. Toasty.
Today wasn't so bad, kinda wonder how tomorrow is going to feel. Supposed to be wet too. Ick.
Some heated grips have been sitting at Powersports just waiting for me for the last 6 months, maybe I should actually go get them and put them on the bike.
Where is CO Powersports? I have a $100 gift card I need to use and heated grips sound sweet
