    Cool tomahawk tires

I didn't know if this was the right place to post this question (if is not please feel free to move my post) but here it goes. Why are tomahawk tires so bad? I was told they are rethreaded tires but people say yes they are and others say they are not. So does anyone know really whats up with those tires? thanks people

    Re: tomahawk tires

They are "remanufactured" tires. Yes, they are safe and reliable. The drawback comes in that you don't really know what manufacturer's carcass they are built on, so the handling may be considerably different from one set to the next. As a day-to-day commuter tire, they'd be pretty good, as a performance or track day tire, I'd think having to adapt to essentially a new and different tire every time you changed them would be an issue.
    Thanks, Jim
