On another note, anyone have an '04 1000rr? My friend is having a hell of a time finding aftermarket parts for it.. I'm thinking its just new, but no luck on screens, and only a few pipes for it..

I know Grand Prix carries a small selection of colored windscreens, no clue if they have one for your bike though. Couple of other options:

What aftermarket parts is he interested in? Like any new model, it takes time for the parts to trickle in but already there is pretty wide aftermarket support for the bike. Just gotta know where to look.

What kind of pipe is he looking for? Just off the top of my head I know that Yoshi, TBR, Arata, Akrapovic, D&D, Micron, Laser, TiForce, ART, Jardine, Arrow, Erion, Termignoni, Remus, Leo Vince, Hindle, and Moriwaki make slips and/or full systems for the 1kRR. This list is by no means complete.

Zero Gravity and Puig both make screens for the RR. If you want something really special, look for Magical Racing's offering.
