    NEEDED: Dead, current race tires

So I've come across an engineer that used to work at a tire building facility. He's offered to cut some tires up and tell me about what's inside.

I've got some of the older Pirelli DOT's, but that's about it for recent tires.

If anybody has some dead tires that are current, I'd be happy to share pictures and words with everyone.

Caveat: this is happening Monday or Tuesday, so I'd need them by the end of the weekend. I'm planning on being at IMI on Sunday for some SuperMoto, so I could meet you there...

I have a front Michelin Pilot Power(2005) that you can have. It's not a full blown race tire, but I've heard of guys using them to race. It's chunked up from the last time I had it on the track, but is still on the (busted)rim, so you'd get the rim, too. Getting it off is up to you. I'll be up in Wheatridge Saturday from 9 - 11am at Supertune Motorsports. Let me know if you want it.
