Wanna go for a lap around High Plains Raceway????

Here's a post from the MRA president....check it out!
sorry if it is a repost.....

OK, there have been a lot of very respectable attempts to simulate what a lap around our new track will be like from a riders/drivers perspective, but based on the latest developments in the track design and what I personally know about the layout of the land, etc...
THIS is absolutely THE BEST simulation I have ever seen. In my opinion the only way you will get any closer to a lap at HPR is to actually drive it.

It is a smaller scale, but I believe that was where it came from....

    Derek-

Do you know how long the straight between turns 3 and 4 at HPR is? How does it compare to the PMP straight?

The track is not even open yet and there is oil in the turns!
    Just kidding.
The track looks like it will have a little of everything we love.
Long straights, tight turns, sweepers, cork screw, and lots of run off.

Its about 100 ft (ish) longer than PMP....... In addition the entrance to it is a much faster corner than T10 at PMP.... Its basically a kink more than a turn.... 170+ mph on an open Superbike seems to be well with in reach........

The simulation does not do the elevation change justice.... After the long straight, you make a right hand Turn then a wide left, that slopes downhill bigtime, into another right and back up a big full throttle hill..... This portion is fun fun fun in real life and will seperate the horse power bikes from the rest.....
The "To Hell on a Bob Sled" section will make you pucker your a$$ so tight...hell on a dirt bike its spooky much less on a sportbike doing over 100 mph..... After this long down hill section you make another right and head up a monster hill that (at the moment) is a blind hill... lurkin on the other side is another nice left hander and down into the corkscrew.......
