That crash was spectacular even by Biaggi standards. It looks like it snapped the swingarm in two. I have to agree, Max was pretty lucky to walk away from that one.

Lucky for him, his bike decided to clear him instead of landing ON him...
Faster, faster, faster, until the thrill of speed overcomes the fear of death.
~Hunter S. Thompson
Do not put off living the life you dream of. Next year may never come. If we are always waiting for something to change...
Retirement, the kids to leave home, the weather or the economy, that's not living. That's waiting!
Waiting will only leaves us with unrealized dreams and empty wishes.
VERY LUCKY!
Those races would have made even the NASCRAP crowd happy between Xaus tradin' paint with everyone and the crashes. There were some spectactular get-offs. I'm just glad that horrifying start-line accident didn't result in the injuries that happened to Mr. Daytona. Imagine being a fan in the front row and getting hit with Fabrizio's boot........with his FOOT still in it! Luckily, it was just his boot that came off. All in all, great racing, and lucky people. Whew!

"...There can be no divided allegiance here. Any man who says he is an American, but something else also, isn't an American at all. We have room for but one flag, the American flag. We have room for but one language here, and that is the English language...and we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a loyalty to the American people."
