103 Up and over Mt. Evans... heading into Idaho Springs, stop by Tommyknocker Brewery. Good food, good beer, if you can find a place to park... it's a great place to stop before heading back to Denver.
Do not put off living the life you dream of. Next year may never come. If we are always waiting for something to change...
Retirement, the kids to leave home, the weather or the economy, that's not living. That's waiting!
Waiting will only leaves us with unrealized dreams and empty wishes.

Sundance Cafe on the P2P in Nederland (south of town). Typical cafe fare, burgers, sandwiches, etc that are pretty good and not pricey. Sit on the deck outside and enjoy the beautiful views, and the ride before and after is great.

"A strict observance of the written laws is doubtless one of the high duties of a good citizen, but it is not the highest. The laws of necessity, of self- preservation, of saving our country when in danger, are of higher obligation. To lose our country by a scrupulous adherence to written law would be to lose the law itself, with life, liberty, property, and all those who are enjoying them with us; thus absurdly sacrificing the end to the means."

+1 This place great for breakfast also. I made this a frequent stop at the end of last season.

+1 Kathmandu in Nederland, and the burro in Fairplay.

I also like Mustard's Last stand in Boulder, just off Broadway and Arapahoe. There is also the Morrison Inn, with the green awning Downtown [Morrison]--good 'apres-ride' place.
