The Gooseberry Inn... you've gotta try the 'sloppy pocket'! Bottled beer and coke products, sandwiches, burgers, mixican dishes, and AMAZING DESSERT! Breakfast buffet on Sundays, biker friendly (gravel parking lot though), and a charming 'country' atmosphere. A great 'halfway' point for a bike ride out to royal gorge.

Just out of Pine, CO to the north. The Buck Snort--for effect and to say you did it. A bit of dirt road for the old lady to deal with. You can come on the other side, too.

the "Sloppy Pocket" at Gooseberry Inn is ground beef and cheese in a tortilla, grilled (maybe fried... I'm not sure) into a sealed up 'pocket', and smothered in green chili, then smothered again in cheese. You get lettuce, salsa, guacamole, and sour cream to add on yourself... it's yummy, but I'm sure it's not healthy!

The Millsite on the P-to-P in Ward has good pie. I haven't stopped there in a few years (always having too much fun to stop when I ride by), but the cherry pie was great the last time I was there.

Awesome BBQ - KT's BBQ in Boulder and Broomfield.

The best burgers - Smashburger in Lafayette.

Nice place is on the Poudre, I can't remember what its called, but I stop there every time, you can make a killer loop. It is something, springs and resort. Kind of a drifters place. Also there is a nice spot called Drifters, right at the near Gould as you are about to head into Walden. Take 125 South and there is a great road to open up a bike. You will end up in Grandby, head West and on 40 Past Kremmling, and you can stop at the Rocky Mountain Bar and Grill. Also a drifters spot, killer wings and cheap as hell beer. After that, head about 10 miles west and turn south at the Kremmling reservoir. Fresh pavement and a rode that turns itself into knots(not saying the number). Once you are down from there, you will end up at a junction. head south towards Wolcott and there is a great spot to eat next to I-70 called the Wolcott Yacht Club. Loop is long around 450 miles. But only maybe 90 miles is a straight line. Depending what way you take, there are some nice roads around vail and stuff but that only adds to the pain in your butt.

I rarely think of motorcycles without a little yearning. They are about moving, and humans, I think, yearn to move – it’s in our cells, in our desires. We quiet our babies with cyclic movement, and we quiet ourselves by going.
