    GSXR 750 Question

Can someone give me a little tech info?

I notice that the throttle response on my 750 '03 is a little sluggish in 1st as you take off from a full stop. Anyone one else have this type of problem? Anything I can do make the throttle response a little cleaner?

My bike pretty much stock, yosh slip on, K&N no other mods.

    Thanks - El Gato

Dude - We need to hook for a ride one of these day. You live so freakin far, maybe we can all hook up for one of the C-470/Morrisson rides.

I had the same problem when I had my 1000. Try cleaning or replacing your airfilter. Once I did that my bike felt new again.

Is this a new problem, or just a general complaint?

You can always try a TRE mod, it's pretty cheap and quickens up the response a bit. I put it on my 600 and can feel a difference, not a huge one, but anything helps.

What RPM range does it feel sluggish?

This isn't a new problem, I think I am noticing it a little more now as I get more comfortable with my bike.

Normally, all I have to do is compensate with a little more throttle slightly higher RPM's and it seems to balance out.

Will a Power Commander help with this at all?

TRE will help. I put one on my TL and it made it a lot smoother in the lower RPM range.

Another version for TL is "sounds like Thunder - fast like Lightning"

I went from TRE (helped a little) to PCIII (helped some more) to K&N (Again helped). While the difference was just a little each time, the complete change is great.

I could be crazy, but maybe not enough fuel at low RPM range. Mine is still carb, but when I put in my K&N I had some major lag where the fuel was not keeping up with the air flow.
