    TL1000S forks/older gixxer 750 the same?

As some of you know i recently wrecked the TLS and now am getting around to fixing it as i want a stunter so i dont have to do it on the gixxer. the forks are destroyed and am in need of some new ones. does anyone know if some older gixxer forks will work? some of you may have some resources to find out that i dont have. the help would be appericated. or if you happen to have some TLS forks laying around lemme know.

GSXR forks are Showa, whereas the TL forks are Kayaba. Without modifications (race tech gold valves or the like), the Showa forks are the better choice. And '96-9 gsxr750 forks are almost a direct swap. I believe the only thing you'd need off the gsxr is the bottom triple clamp (I think the Showa forks are a different diameter in the clamp area ? but not sure) and maybe the fender. The brakes, wheels, etc. are a direct fit.

    Good luck.
