    Bleeding a 07 GSXR

Well, got the bike in pretty good shape last night. However I had to install a new front master cylinder. There is a beeder at the top, so how do I bleed this type of system? I have the hose, fluid, etc. just need a little direction on how to bleed this setup.

    Thanks!

    DK,

This bleeder on top makes life super easy!

Run the fluid through the lines as usual using the valves on the calipers to get most of the way there. Then I use a zip tie or a strap to tie the brake lever in for a couple hours (makes the air bubbles in the system really small) because they are small they work their way to the top of the system. Release the zip tie and then bleed the remaining air out from the top just like you would from the caliper. DONE!

    Have fun!

Do not put off living the life you dream of. Next year may never come. If we are always waiting for something to change...
Retirement, the kids to leave home, the weather or the economy, that's not living. That's waiting!
Waiting will only leaves us with unrealized dreams and empty wishes.

    No your gsxr is bleeding!!

No need to wait over night.. you bleed the master cylinder first , then the left caliper then the right. If you need to, you can retrace your steps but make sure you bleed in the right order. Oh and a $4.00 hose type speed bleeder is a must have, cuts bleeding time drastically. hmm cuts bleeding...

Will my memory has either been abducted by racign aliens or I am just an idiot, retail is $19.99 but it is worth its weight.

I can get you one by monday or if your in the springs you can swing by the shop and borrow mine. You just put the tube over the bleeder like normally and then open the bleeder and bleed. It doesn't allow air back into the line.

Its found here... its the motion pro one.
