I put my iPod in my front pants pocket so I can change it and pause it. I usually put it on static x

I rarely think of motorcycles without a little yearning. They are about moving, and humans, I think, yearn to move its in our cells, in our desires. We quiet our babies with cyclic movement, and we quiet ourselves by going.

God that video is old...but still funny as hell.
I use my blackberry on shuffle. Doesnt work all that well but I can use my navigation on it at the same time which is cool.
I have a BB Curve and the media player sucks on it. If they had a minimalistic remote for it, I would use that

As for headphones, the best in sound quality and fits under helmet I have found are the Sony MDR-EX71’s.
They fit inside the ear and seal off a good amount of the outside noise, but not so much you can’t still hear traffic around you. They have great bass and rarely fall out of my ear after putting my helmet on. They have them at the Sony Store in Cheery Creek.
They also come with an extension so you can wire up your jacket and disconnect at your collar.
I have a 30gb iPod w/ the iJet remote control accessory(super tiny remote). I velcro the remote to my triple's and have forward, back, volume and play/pause w/ my left hand.

iPod vote here. Bought a used 30 gig cheap.
As far as head phones...it depends on the sound quality you want and the price you wanna pay.
Someone suggested Sony and they work well.
Shure and Goldring make the best imo that will actually make SOLID low bass, and stay in the ear.
I use the Goldring GX200.

I have a two gig nano in a metal case that I attached to the fairing stay on the left side by cutting two slots in the back with a dremel and using zipties. I also use 'Skull candy' earphones. They are soft, fit in the helmet without crushing my ears, and they act like regular earplugs when there is no music playing. I have a slash cut shorty pipe that is loud as hell. With the plugs in, it sounds like a stock 600.
You Deserve What You AcceptWhatever, I didn't vote for him.
This is what me and my girl both use. They were the cheapest mp3 that we could find. And we just got the cheapset headphones that biglots had ($1.99). Took the headphones apart and just velcroed the speakers in the helmet. Then velcroed the mp3 to the side of the helmet. Now you can easily control your mp3.

My wife got an 80gb iPod from her employer as a "thank you" for her help on a special project. She uses it a lot now but when she first got it (2 weeks ago) she told me if she had actually paid it, should would have taken it back within 5 minutes due to the lack of friendly usabilty.
For the price, I'd recommend getting a 2-4gb flash memory based MP3 player and a blue tooth adapter (they run on an internal recharable battery - I linked one in my review).
The only issue I've found with using a bluetooth headset for music while riding is the location of the transmiter - in my case my cell phone. If my phone is in my tank bag or chest pocket the songs tend to skip - my guess is because the transmitter is in the front and my headset reciever is on the back of my head. This problem however is fixed by either storing under the tandum seat or a tail bag - I actually was able to turn my joerocket manta tank bag (the smaller one) into a tail bag by using some straps - looks good and it's no longer in the way when I lay on the tank!

For the last 6 months I have been carrying around my CD colection on my 16gig iphone and I have played with the ipod touches and they are real simailer in user interface. I would highly recomend them IF (and this is a big if) you are willing to put out a little $$. I really wish they had a AM/FM transmiter though. I miss listening to MPR coming home from work in the mornings now that I rideto work everyday. The stock apple headphones are some of the best I have ever used, nice and loud and fit well in the ear. But once again..$$.. Mine came with the phone.
imma sell my 30gb ipod video (I know ya don't need it) on the cheap if you'd like dana (depends on the gift card for exchange but i figure my new phone will hold enough for me.
It's a celebration bitches!!! - RIP 502
