Here’s all you need to know about the coolest race in town, starting with…
...THE TEAMS
You can race in teams of 2 to 4 people. Each team member MUST be 21 years or older. If you and your buddies are pumped and want to register online before the day of the race, the registration fee is $120 a team. If you have to wait until your notorious-for-procrastinating friends get back to you, the day-of registration fee is $140 a team.
Each team MUST submit a team name upon registration. We also encourage teams to choose a “team theme” and come dressed to impress on race day. Don’t forget, teams not only compete for a best-time prize, but also a BEST-TEAM THEME prize. (PLUS, who can say “No” to being on TV, in the newspaper, or on next year’s Mile High Hunt posters??)
Of course, costumes are not required to still have a rockin' good time during the race, so no worries if your team ends up lacking prep time!
…THE CHECK-IN PROCESS
All team members MUST sign a participation waiver at Check-In before the Hunt starts, so we recommend that all of your team members arrive at the Check-In station at the same time.
Check-in will begin at 8:30AM. Registration cut-off will be at 9:45AM. Teams will have STAGGERED STARTS beginning at 10:00AM, so teams not checked in by then will be disqualified and no refunds will be issued. So don’t go awanderin’ after check-in – we wouldn’t want you to miss your start-time!
…THE RACE
If you’re worried about wandering off-course because of ridiculous amounts of excitement, the Hunt's boundaries will be posted here soon (so check back often!). In terms of getting anything else out of us – well, that’s all, folks!
…THE PARTY
Is at the Fado's Irish Pub! We know you’ll have a hearty appetite (and a twisted noodle!) by the time you make it to home base, so there’ll be good food, cold beer, and live music waiting for you at the finish. Prizes will be awarded to EACH route’s top team AND to the team with the Best Theme around 2:00 PM. Then everything wraps up around 3:00PM. Just in time for…
…THE AFTER-PARTY!
This is a little something called “I Survived the Hunt.” Thanks to participating Lodo establishments, you’ll be able to celebrate your awesome day while making your way around town on your own time and on a discounted dime! Trust us, this is worth it, so be part of the Hunt to be part of the After-Party!

It is pretty fun. I work with one of the organizers and she said they are changing it up this year to make it more fun with more physical challenges. Drinking is an option, but always encouraged
