Isle of Capri and Beau Jo's sound good.

I'm in, this ride was a lot of fun last year. I'll try to meet up in Lyons also.
Like Ralph said, skipping that section takes out some of the best parts of the route.

Tommy Knocker’s would be a better choice for a large group in Idaho Springs. You’ll be waiting a while for a table at Beau Jo’s on a holiday weekend.

Keeping fingers, toes and eyes crossed the weather holds out for Sunday.

Did anyone see the forecast for this week. I watched the 5a.m. news this morning and looks like Wednesday is supposed to be 90 degrees...holy !#*... The end of the week is supposed to "cool" down, but we'll see...

Have you considered how crowded a casino is gonna be on a holiday weekend…and parking?

Re: 3rd annual Memorial Day ride!!! - Sunday May 25th

Yep. We were there on the very same day last year. Parking was fine...we had a whole side of one of the levels in the parking garage to ourselves with about 45-50 bikes. The buffet was fine as well, as not all of us ate and then some of us had a sandwich at the deli instead.

It's one of the solutions that seemed to fit the need the best.

Someone I work with suggested Kermits Roadhouse, but I'm not sure where it's at exactly. It's supposed to be biker friendly and the grub is like "greasy-spoon" kind of grub.

Harley bar. The service is shit, the place looks unhygienic, but their pork green chili is fucking out of this world. I think it has crack or something in it. SO GOOD.

I stop there on my way home from skiing, often.

EDIT: They also have hot dogs, I think, but their main food is the home-made chili. They have red chili, too... but it's not as good as the green. OMG.

looks like it's gonna be big this year!!!

there is a reservation under my name ..."mayo" for a table for 15.
if you would like something to eat before we head out. please arrive early enough to compensate.

    their cinammon roll rocks BTW.

really glad to see all the attendees this year!

    i need a good day.
    today has not been one.

yesterday was great, but today just sucks.

gouged the shit out of my palm with a ratchet strap while trying to hold a rototiller tire in place.
went to pop the strap after i got the seal and BAM. instant indentation.

What time do you think you will be in Ned? Not sure I can make it yet, I'm going to try and make arrangements so we can join you. I haven't been to Deckers or Idaho Springs yet. Sounds like fun. I need to get some miles in on my new helmet....

i will assume around 10am ish....just my assumption though.
it all depends on how the start of the ride progresses from lyons.
last year was slow going up 7 till we got to 72

Um...correction...we'll leave Lyons around 10 (according to original post), so we'll more than likely be in Ned around 11, everything going the way it should go, of course. I'm thinking Blackhawk by 12, maybe 1230'ish.
