If you bought a transponder and have it in hand, you need to charge it before the races. It usually takes about 20 hours to fully charge. But don't do it too early where it doesn't last the whole weekend.
If you bought one and plan on picking it up at the first race, don't worry about the charge, Chris Dale will have them all ready for you.
