MotoGP World Championship leader Jorge Lorenzo did not come out for the afternoon session, having been taken to hospital for examination. The Spaniard suffered a highside in his first premier class Shanghai session, picking up a chipped bone in his left ankle and some damage to his lower right leg. It is not yet known if the Fiat Yamaha rider will return to action on Saturday as he looks to maintain his 100% pole position record.

Do not put off living the life you dream of. Next year may never come. If we are always waiting for something to change...
Retirement, the kids to leave home, the weather or the economy, that's not living. That's waiting!
Waiting will only leaves us with unrealized dreams and empty wishes.

That must have seemed like an hour long flight while he was waiting to hit the ground. Hope it does not keep him out.

Valentino's reaction (watching a monitor, in the video) says it all. Ouch.

Interesting how composed he was in the air. I know it happened fast, but he looked very relaxed, not flailing his arms or legs while in the air from the time he released the bike until he hit the pavement.
Liberty never came from government. The history of liberty is a history of resistance. The history of liberty is a history of limitations of government power, not the increase of it. Woodrow Wilson, September 9th, 1912
