    Left Hand Canyon

I rode it today. It was a last minute decision thing to do.
I have never been there before, except hiking a little with the boys.
I rode the easy trails at 1st. The main trail gets a little tough at times but the view at the top is well worth it. I rode the loop 2 times, 2nd time was easier.
I also had a good time watching the 4X4's crawl over the rocks and stuff.

LHC is smaller than Rampart, but is more challenging, I think.

    Re: Left Hand Canyon

Today (Sunday) I took my oldest son Nik up to LHC, he is 13. I think LHC would too hard for my youngest.
We did the loop together. At 1st I was worried LHC was too tough for Nik, but he rode it like a master. I took him around the loop with a stop at the top for lunch.
He rode the loop so well, we found some harder single track trails that he mastered.
There were a few falls, but that is to be expected. I think he still is a better rider than Ashli.
Yea, he made me very proud today.

There was a little miscalculation, but he was unhurt.

Great shots! I cut my teeth up at Left Hand Canyon. I didn't get my 1st dirt bike till I was 40 (an ATK 490) now I'm on a KTM 520 EXC, a night and day difference!
