Indianapolis GP - Track Question

With all the recent Indy 500 press coverage, I've been viewing the construction cams and track layouts for the MotoGP race. Question...

Is it just me, or does it appear that the end of the pit road barrier seriously impedes a rider's line into turn 1?



You can see a view down the main straight in the contstruction webcam by panning far LEFT....

Will those barriers be removed for the GP race?

Just the angle of pic. There is plenty of room on the track for that corner. To put into perspective, look at that truck on the track in that picture; the track is very wide.
