Sat 5/31- 268 miles, are you game??

    Here's my planned route:

    http://www.mapquest.com/mq/2-dOpuNBgjjWTqdpzu

270 Miles per MapQuest all thought I may deviate if possible around I70.

This route calls for stopping off at the Morrison Conoco if the Northies would like to join us, we should be there around 11:30.

    Town's we'll hit:

Colorado Springs > Deckers > Morrison > Idaho Springs > Silverthorne > Breckenridge > Hartsel > Woodland Park > Colorado Springs.

We could also do the reverse and come home through Deckers instead.

This route covers some beautiful Colorado country with some higher elevations (dress in layers, bring some warm weather gear).

The forecast calls for highs of 68 in Idaho Springs and Breckenridge; the two "cold" parts of the trip so winter gear should not be needed, but this is Colorado - come prepared.

This is a 5-6 hour ride with an hour for lunch factored in.

    Times:

Meet up at Pikes Perk (8th street) @ 9:45ish - Roll out at 10:00 A.M. The address is: 1616 S 8th St, Colorado Springs, CO‎

Be fueled up and ready to go - show up earlier if you want breakfast.

We should arrive at the Morrison Conoco (16283 Morrison Rd, Morrison, CO) around 11:30 AM for any Northies that would like to join us.

Be back home in Colorado Springs by 4:00 PM, probably earlier - 5 PM at the latest.

We'll do lunch along the way, probably Silverthorne or Fairplay.

Interested? Want to meet up along the route? Post here or you can also call me at 719-201-9383.

My steamboat plan fell through so I will meet you in the Springs and tag along. I will be leaving SW denver @ 8:00 to take Perry Park Rd down and avoid most of the Hwy. That should give me plenty of time to get there and have a cup.

If anyone want to join me I will leave the Conoco at 8:00. Sharp!

    See ya in the morning.

The wife and I will probably be leaving the Morrison exit a little earlier than that, We will see. If not and we do meet up with ya'll, she rides an 06 fz1 Red, and I am on the 07 fz1 raven black. We usually hit it with the fast group.
