    CRASH PROTECTION

    Update: Sept. 19th, 2007

Racers, riders, etc. We now have nine riders interested in purchasing the Hit-Air System

    Terra
    TomB
    MissyB
    Pilot
    InLinesix24
    Xtrmjeepn
    Clovis
    Hi11zone (I think)
    98rc46

and I have contact the headquarters in Japan to see what they have to offer. I know that safety is a big concern to you riders-both on and off the track. (and especially your families) so, who is in on a group buy? This protection system has been around since the 90's in Japan and is also used in horseback riding. I'm going to guess that it will become pretty popular with more people as time goes by.

    File downloads fast.

This past Saturday at the MoCO the Hit-Air safety systems reps were demonstratining their product. Here is a video of Terra, #112-MRA, trying the vest out. Later that day TomB, after his get-off, said that he was most certainly looking into picking one of these S.B.S. "Shock Buffering Systems" up. The system comes in many styles of upper body gear to include a vest that would fit over a one piece suit.

The price, compared with the potential of a broken bone or internal injuries, seems small.

That was cool seeing it in person on Saturday. I liked it when he rolls around on the ground.

    Re: CRASH PROTECTION

So I guess I'm missing how it works...is there a teather to the bike? So when you leave the bike it triggers the coat?

Pretty cool stuff. I would be interested in learning more. I might be in.

50 lbs pull. They even state in their brochures to remember to disconnect the vest from the bike (via chord) as it may pull some smaller bikes over.

    Re: CRASH PROTECTION

Glad to see some interest is picking up in this one. Who knows, the vest could be common place in a few years. Cracked ribs, internal injuries, back injuries, neck hyperextension... perhaps some of these can be reduced with such the Hit-Air system vest.

    Re: CRASH PROTECTION

    Hi everybody!

    I'll introduce myself really quick.

My name is Taylor, and I am one of the reps who spoke with Pilot in Morrison.

I joined to help out with the group order you want to do and answer any questions you may have.

In order to get a price for the group order, I need to know which models and sizes everyone would like, and make sure they are readily available so we can adjust to fit everyones needs.

So there is my little intro I hope to speak with many of you soon and make new friends

    Make it a great day!
