I've seen that video several times but I haven't been able to find out what actually happened. I've read anywhere from they all lived to the two marshalls were killed, even so far as one was split in half on impact.

Either way, a nasty a way to go.

I was there racing that weekend -- there was carnage all around, including myself and my teammate who both totaled our bikes! It's at Loudon in 2001, and everybody survived. The one cornerworker had some pretty extensive injuries but everyone completely recovered. Bad juju that weekend...
