Talking integrated my tail light today

i got my tail light kit finally, and finished cutting off the fender today. i got some iridescent 1156 bulbs (silverstars) since i think they give it a cool hue when they are off, and are still street legal since they light up yellow. i used the stock license plate holder, and bolted that to piece of aluminum, which is bolted through some frame bolts.

i also took off the stock bar ends (for a narrower bar look/feel), and swapped out the grips for some progrip gels (to make up for the bar ends dampening)

the only other aesthetic mod i have planned are some flushmount front signals (maybe in a few weeks )

Ya dude, that looks really good. When your done with that bike (next spring i hope) and you want somthing bigger, you can sell it to me for my girl.

Lol has gone from meaning, "laugh out loud" to "I have nothing else to say".

Why is a school zone 20 mph? That seems like the optimal cruising speed for pedophiles...

thanks, but the more and more i think about it, the more i feel that i should really hold on to this for a few years. its the newest vehicle ive ever owned, i paid cash so i don't owe any money on it, and the last tank of gas got me around 65 mpg.

whenever i feel like moving up, i think i'll just buy a second bike for a weekend cruising (like an aprilia shiver )

I'm all for integration, just watch out for the dogs.

Love the Ninja 250. So how do you like the Muzzy pipe?
    Any performance gains from it?

well i bought the bike with the muzzy installed, so i can't really give you an opinion of before and after. from what ive read, exhausts really don't give much if any of a performance gain on these bikes. i would think that with a good re-jet, you'll get maybe 1 hp out of it (theres only ~30 hp to the rear wheel on a stock bike). it does take 20-25 lbs off the bike though since you have to remove the center stand too.

i think it makes the bike sound kinda beefy (lower tone, louder) and my friend mike (who has a built forester) keeps telling me it sounds like a Subaru, which it kinda does...
