All we need are 8-12 volunteers to help out with the event on Saturday, August 9th . See below for more details, but the basics are that you put in a 4 hr shift at a beer booth and get to have fun while raising money for a good cause.
The SummerFest Music Series on Old South Pearl Street is offering a great fundraising partnership to you!
We are offering your non-profit organization, or the charitable organization of your choice, an excellent fundraising opportunity.
You provide the FUNd Pod:
• An 8-12 person volunteer FUNd Pod to HAVE FUN staffing a beer or beverage booth at our SummerFest Blues & Brews event on Saturday, August 9, 2008 from 1pm to 10pm. FUNd Pod of 8 to 11 members may require that your Pod member volunteers do some double shifts. Your Pod volunteers do need to be over 21 years of age.
• Information on your FUNd Pod's beneficiary non-profit/charity organization.
The SummerFest Music Series gives you the FUNds:
• $350 check made out to your non-profit/charity organization
• A Tip Jar at your booth with tips also going to your organization
• The opportunity to offer literature and other information regarding your organization to our 10,000-plus attendees
