Just a quick update

Quality inn called today and said that no one had made reservations at the hotel yet. That is the last weekend of the Colorado State Fair, so they are anxious to release the rooms if we aren't going to use them.

Please make your reservations early so you don't miss out.

Nothing but the best to Chicane Trackdays! I'd even volunteer to do two hours of night watchman at the hotel.

This would be something great to do. Unfortunately, I have beat the shit out of my ZZR at track days (07), teaching and general "easy" riding through the hills and crashing, off-roading, and long-distance romances to Cali and back. The brakes (lines, calipers, rotors), tires, suspension (spilling out like a hot McDonald's cup of coffee), final drive, and body are all in need of an overhaul. But compression is still good! Hopefully, over the winter I'll be able to afford a little work to recondition the Tuna Boat. It looks like I might be teaming up with some good parts suppliers (aka--sponsors) so that will make it easier on the wallet. BTW, if anyone is interested in a bike that is nearly bullet proof--when it comes to miles and survivability, consider buying a ZZR. I'm up to 90,000 on the odometer.


Maybe I can get a couple of Midnight Scooter sales guys to stop by NN's place and pick me up some parts! LOL Lift boys, lift!

That, and I'll be "on the road." Damn. Haven't even been on a little CSC group ride this year. Cept once, I think.

Quality inn has rented out the rooms they had set aside for us because no one called and reserved rooms. I got on it right away and arranged a small block of rooms with the Sleep Inn just down the road.

I'm continuing to work with hotels in the Pueblo area, but things are pretty booked up due to it being State Fair time as well.

In other news about this event I'm close to wrapping up a special Saturday night of festivities! More on this very soon!

Make sure you get signed up (which means paid up) asap! Just showing up at the track isn't going to guarantee your spot. It's going to be a kick ass weekend!! You know you want to be there.
