    Recommended route to Breck???

Can anyone give me a good route recommendation to ride to Breckenridge? I have to be up there Saturday for a family event and figured that would be a good excuse to travel some canyons and get some time on the bike. I would be leaving from the Highlands Ranch area. Any help is appreciated!!

deer creek to 285 to hwy 9 or bear creek to evergreen pkwy to I 70 frontage road then 70 to loveland pass (you can also tack on mt evans to this second route if you want)

Yeah, coming from Denver you're kinda stuck with the I-70 or 285 corridors for most of the route.

Yeah, 285 to Fairplay, then take whatever that Hwy is into Breck.

Make it a loop, either way first depending on your fancy. But definately hit Loveland Pass and the Swan Mtn. cutoff on the South side of Dillon Res. I-70 is kind of a bummer but there are numerous side/frontage roads that you CAN take if you want to avoid the doldrums, they just take longer but if you are not in a hurry...

have fun and go the speed limit through the Hwy 9 & 285 towns or plan on donating to their revenue generation fund.
