    Blood!!

    I'm told they're calling for extra blood donations in preparation for all the folks coming in for the DNC. I'm eligible again on the 18th so I plan to head up to the Denver West bonfils on Monday or Tuesday around 4:30. Anybody game to join me? You can go to www.bonfils.org for info and to make an appointment. Newbie/wannabe blood donors...feel free to throw out questions about the process. They actually don't give you as much information as I think would be helpful in reducing anxiety about the process. BTW if you're o neg they automatically test your blood for CMV for possible use in the baby-blood supply. Yay babies!

    Hold off till the 30th and Jeanna and I will be eligible to donate again. I don't want to volunteer her, but she'll probably be game to go, since the apres party normally involves an extended lunch somewhere.
