IMI on Saturday (tomorrow) 8/23?

Hi folks,

I've had a very very stressful week, and I need to get some riding in.

I called IMI and they have an open track tomorrow (no races on the paved track).

I plan to head out there when they open up (9-10am). I will be there until noon-1pm or so.

Anyone interested in joining me? It'll be fun!

I could be up for it. I've been itching to head to IMI and I work normal hours so I haven't been able to make the other IMI days posted on this board. I'm also a newbie at the track (only 1 track day), so I'll be going pretty slow compared to most tracksters. I'm still trying to get my knee down.

Sorry you got sick. The track was awesome this morning. I was the only one that showed, so that was too bad, but I had the track to myself and one other kart racer for 2 hours before a ton of kart renters showed up around 11:15. I had my knee draggin' by the third lap, and within 30 minutes I had dragged my knee on every turn. sweet! It was definitely fun and I think getting there at 9am on the weekends is the way to go to avoid the track sharing problems with karts. -Ryan
