    Triumph Speed Triple Project

Picked up the body work from paint today. Matt's guys at M&M in Aurora, CO did a awesome job. Paint is actually a 2008 Porsche Color.

There is no way my camera is going to do this paint any justice. But here it is anyway.

(Still waiting on a bearing to be able to assemble the swingarm and the rest of the bike).

That's going to be one fun bike!

I hope you enjoy riding it as much as you do building it. Although, they are two very different things.

I quite often find more enjoyment in the project itself. It's just fun to tweak things the way you want them, and know they're done right - because you did it yourself.

    Enjoy

    Re: Triumph Speed Triple Project

With a little help from Scott at Rockstomper I cured my swingarm bearing issue and finally got the speed triple off of the engine hoist tonight.
Still need to do a lot to it, but it was nice to see it on the wheels.
Forgive the mess, there has been an engine hoist in the way for months. It is cleaner now.

    Re: Triumph Speed Triple Project

Waiting on a bunch of misc parts to arrive to put the rest toghther.
Need to find a coil plug but am having zero luck.
Had time to work on it today.........but it was 66 degrees and sunny here in Colorado so I decided to put off working on the Speedy until another day and took the R1 for a very nice long ride.
I did at least roll it outside and take a camera phone pic. Wish I could have got the sun on the paint, it is sooooo sexy in the sun.

Do not put off living the life you dream of. Next year may never come. If we are always waiting for something to change...
Retirement, the kids to leave home, the weather or the economy, that's not living. That's waiting!
Waiting will only leaves us with unrealized dreams and empty wishes.
