    Framesliders for a Superhawk?

My buddy Dan is having trouble finding frame sliders for his '98 Superhawk, and the brief bit of poking around that I performed didn't turn much up either. Anybody got any leads?

Except they don't make frame sliders for the superhawk, only bar sliders.

Yeah, that was the first place I looked when Dan told me he was having trouble finding them. So far it looks like the UK market is the only place to find them, unless someone else here has any ideas...

    How's this?

Find the place that you would want to mount them. Measure, find the ones that will work. Then run to AAA Metric and find a replacement bolt.

Here's one reply I got back so far:

Competition Accessories out of Ohio [www.compacc.com I think]
Carries some that do not require drilling the fairing. I have them on my bike and they are
crash-tested. They work exactly as they are supposed to. Also, they are much cheaper than
those mow@#$%@# ones that bend when you crash...

Someone I know is looking for some frame sliders for his superhawk, anyone
know where to get them? We're not coming up with much.

    Thanks

    Alex,

Have Dan check these guys out as well http://www.rg-racing.com/

He'll have to lookup the Euro version of his bike though, the vtr1000 firestorm

I have these on my Falco now and they're alot beefier than the intuitive ones I crashed with last year. Which, btw, snapped off like a toothpick in a lowspeed lowside.

When I ordered mine last year I received excellent service and the shipment took about 10 days to get here. The fitment was excellent. They're a bit pricier than the intuitive, but what's your plastic worth?..

    yea

You could type in (IRP SLIDERS) in your search box and they should have what you need.

If you're alluding to Intuitive Race Products, Spiderman mentioned them in the first reply to this thread, and they don't appear to make a slider for the Superhawk. If you can find me a link that shows otherwise, I'd be a happy person!
