If it's not Rossi's actual bike from '07 it's an amazing friggen replica.

Funny that the bike was about as big as the car towing it.

What makes you think Rossi has an under-seat exhaust?

Please note that we did NOT disturb, rape, or pillage the bike in any way, shape, or form. We only did this to get some pictures to share with all of you.

Majority of the cars are that size here in Japan and odd shapes...

That bike is a replica , a very good replica but not a true m1.

I have to tell you, if they spent that kind of money making a replica-

Factory stamped serial number on the frame
    Carbon fiber rotors
Marelli Dash (by the way, you and I simply CANNOT buy these things)

Now, will I buy that it's not the ACTUAL bike Rossi rode last year, but a backup or prototype with the right bodywork on it? Sure, but I looked at the pics in the thread really closely and have to say, I think it's a real M1

Re: Rossi's bike, discovered unsecured in a parking garage

I would agree with Scott. It's a real M1 but not necessarily Rossi's A bike...or maybe not even a B bike but possibly a test bike with the Fiat bodywork on it. Its most likely the same one that was provide to Indianapolis for promotional use the past few months- http://www.roadracingworld.com/news/...?article=33646 Since Fiat is the title sponsor and paying a huge chunk to the Yamaha team, no reason they couldnt be toating it around behind one of their cars. Still surprising its on that little open trailer.
