Yep, even if it's dry it will be cold and there is likely to be gravel on the road in places...

On a BUSA?! Holy fuggin shite!

I simply cannot fathom what it would be like to ride that thing. Or how it would feel to have one of those spikes break off and fling into your leg.

Wow! If I were going to pick a bike to do that to - I doubt it would be the biggest displacement sportbike ever made. Mounting those tires must involve a lot of bleeding.

    Chris,
I bailed,(just for the 26th) but would happily go anytime again,(as early as next weekend).

However, Jeff may still want to go so hook up w/ him.

Think your up for a 50CC later on in the Spring??

BTW, how many miles do you have on your scoot now? Will you have > 7K by the end of the year??

    Cabela's

If anyone wants to still make the pilgrimage, just say the word. I'll ride but maybe leave at say 9:00 rather than the crack of o-dark-thirty. The fastest way is out I-76 to Sterling then north through Peetz to Sidney.

 The clocks change Sat night.

    THE RUN

    Hey Harry,

I can understand that as well, I am probably just going to do the standard run tomorrow if anyone else shows up at Starbuck's.
I currently have 6902 on the VFR, Kip and the gang have been working with me last weekend back through the mountains, fighting some ghosts from the accident and am waiting for armored jackets to go on sale before I buy another. Outside of that I keep her shacked up at the dealership where it has been a little warmer of late.
I am hoping for a long ride next month if the weather holds. Lets do a Poser run for a dinner soon if you can!

    Ride to Frisco

Well due to the cancelation of the Cabela's ride for tomorrow 10/26/02. Sooooooooooo - I'm gonna ride WEST up I-70 (maybe turn left at
Loveland Pass if things look AOK) and then go to Frisco to THE MOOSE JAW for lunch. Wanna go with : Meet at CO 93 and Eldorado Drive @ 9:30 AM. If the weather holds maybe go over Hoosier Pass to Fairplay and back on US 285. I'll check this posting prior to take-off.

    Cabelas; trying again.....

    greetings to all interested,

this saturday meeting at Panera's lot at 0800, with a departure nlt 0830 (a northern meeting area can be added if there are those interested...) the route will probably be I-76 to Sterling then north through Peetz to Sidney.
the ride will probably take about 6 hours; the departure time has been picked to maximize the light of day and warmth (plus beating the afternoon rain...) fuel up before!!!!

    thanx,
    henry
