^^This actually might be due to Spies! Supposedly the JIR in JIR Scott wanted Spies for their GP ride, but Scott wanted to move up Tyshiagldkajdadkj (SP) 250 rider from their team.

However, it makes you wonder what bike JIR will be fielding after getting turned down by Honda?

However the "JIR" was trying to get another bike (supposedly for spies) but Honda will not lease him one, hence the split. JIR is going to release their 09 intentions the end of the season. Basically "oh fuck" I have Ben Spies signed but no bike for him to ride.

JIR has announced that they will not be fielding a bike next year, so no taking up valuable grid space for them. And as CEO of AMM (Angry Marmot Motorsports) I have the official flow chart of MotoGP/WSBK that I review each morning and approve before emailing to DK. I can add you Scott.
