    Wahooman's Deals Gap Video

As promised we have hosted the video that Wahooman was looking to show off. I will tell you up front that the video is HUGE. Just when you think your computer is locked up... it might start to play. It is entertaining nonetheless. Enjoy it.

It is located on our magazine's video page.

    Wow! Great road.
There is a lot of double yellow line crossing though.

YEs there was.....that was the gap. You can't see from the video perspective but all corners were taken carefully. The blind ones were not crossed, so keep that in mind. Can't wait until April to hit up 318 curves again in 11 miles!
Voncon thanks again for doing this. I realize it is huge and appreciate it greatly. It is worth the download time

Tanya....I will bring you a CD video if you want as long as your DVD player plays video discs that is.
Hopefully for Christmas I will be getting a DVD burner and then it will be sooooo much better to make these things. Takes a ton of time, but your home videos are SWEET!

Oh and also to comment again on the double yellow line crossing. I want to ensure everyone we were being safe. If I recall through the entire 16 minute video or so....there was only one motorcyle and one vehicle that were even on the road at the same time.
Does this entice (sp?) anyone to join us in April............its worth the drive!

I would say no.....I mean we did see people trailering their race bikes up, unloading them and riding.....no light or anything, let alone a license plate.

Nice Wahooman. I've never been to the gap but it looks fun. I didn't have time to view the entire vid but parts of it. I liked the camera angle very close to the ground.

I know you talked about how safe it was crossing the yellow, but how does it work?
Do people actually stop the traffic up top so you don't have two way traffic? That would be fun, to be able to use up the entire road...

I must admit, whenever you crossed the yellow though, I could feel myself tighten up cuz I was expecting a slip of the front or rear tire on those slick Double Yellow paint!

    Re: Wahooman's Deals Gap Video

    to answer your question greeny

they don't stop traffic on the other end there just isn't a whole lot of traffic on the gap. where we wre crossing the line we could see way down the road or around the corner and knew we could do it with out any problem.

the yellow paint is slick but didn't seem to affect traction unless it was wet

now riding that thing in the rain was a whole different animal

very slick and the yellow was deadly slippery. we slept when it rained

the road is so smooth that when it rains it gets really slick. but when it is dry it is like one big orgasmic road.

it is definetly worth the drive
