"In addition to a helmet, you also may want to opt for a full-face shield for protection from wind, rain, bugs, small rocks and dust."

Haven't these scooter people ever heard of a full-face helmet?

Well, at least the MSNBC article recommends taking a motorcycle safety class.

Oh. OH! HOLY SHIT!!!!!! That was brutal!

"But a scooter is safer because it doesn't go as fast!"

I'd put money on a bit of extra horsepower saving that guy's life; I definitely appreciate having the ability to get the hell out of the way FAST. Screw scooters.

Naw....he's just counter steering that big pig.

But this is the way to RIDE a scooter:
Be assured that a walk through the ocean of most souls would scarcely get your feet wet.

Only a biker knows why a dog sticks his head out of a car window.

^^ haha. But at least she fell down before she hit the car! I figured she was gonna do a face plant right into the corner of the trunk...that would have put her in worse shape than she turned out.
