The days are getting colder & shorter, WSBK and Moto GP are winding down to the end, Formula 1 is in it's last few races, and life is looking grim...

But then, out of the blue:

    YAAAAY! HOCKEY!!!

    GO AVS!!!

Now, I like the Avs (thanks to Sheila for taking me last year!), but I gotta go Olde School on this one a root for Da Bruins. I grew up outsida Baastan in the late '60's/early '70's and saw a couple games as a kid. Phil and Joe Espesito(sp?), and Bobby Orr, and a few others I've forgotten. Man, they ROCKED!

    So....

    GO BRUINS!!!!!!

Okay doll, you and I get some HOCKEY ON. Course there isn't a turn three in Hockey, so unless the puck hits you in the head, which it miraculously will, then game on! Whoo hoo hun. All you have to do is target fixate on the rink and I will catch the puck with a baseball glove of course.

I didn't see the game, as I was burned out preparing for my d-vorce case this morning, and went to bed at 8. Who won the 2 games?

now don't get me wrong.. the avs looked good last night.. well except for the goaltending... thats going to be a problem spot all year...

    Re: NHL Opening Night

Goal tendings been a issue since Roy left. Hard man to replace. The defense seemed a little out of it last night as well. And a little luck for Boston on the last goal came in handy.

I am a huge Avs fan but I wouldn't be surprised if they barely squeek into the playoffs this year.

Toronto will not do good (again) this year, since they are on a team rebuilding stage for probably the next few seasons.

Wait a minute Terri. Did you say you were going to throw a puck at my head?

If so I will just take that as a reminder to always where a helmet.

I don't throw stuff. That's just rude. (okay, there was one shoe throwing incident) But we would look awesome sitting there in our helmets. Retarded...but in an awesome way.
