    Just posted my bike for sale

    Hello all,

    Due to changes in the household, I have put my '08 Ninja 250 up for sale. I'm not sure how to link to the post in the "For Sale" forum, so I thought I would post a little note here.

    Bashed Bikes, Fat Kids Inc., JDH Welding /Mental made me follow him into that corner... And then he followed me down that hill and then Dallas followed too!

    Dont mean to be an asshole here but have a question, Trade in value is what we should normaly look at for blue book correct because dealer value includes prep and replacment of parts if needed correct? According to Kbb its worth $2,000.00 trade in value. Am i wrong in this assesment? Do I need to look else where for a blue book price? Just a general question I have had.

    Outside of that, if you check out any of the 250 boards/forums you will see that around the country people are selling these bikes for over MSRP. This seller is actually listing his for under MSRP (on a bike that is very hard to acquire...I know). Also, knowing this person, I know that the bike has been taken care of.

    Is it a fair price...that ultimately is up to the person shopping for a/the bike.

    Just wondered because I always see that and just never knew what value to use. Thanks for the info! And it is a very good looking Kawi, need to get one for my wife, just having all cash go into my F3 project right now.
