    MotoHaus Coffee 2006-2008

Well apparently MotoHaus is now gone. I stopped by there Saturday morning and it was closed. Two people have told me that the place has now been cleaned out. What a drag. Thanks to Max for providing the best motorcycle gathering place around. It was a great environment with friendly people and fun events. It shall be missed.

    Sad news...

I always wanted to make it up there, and to meet Max and the Northern crew...I'm sorry I never took the opportunity. From all I have heard and seen...it would have been my type of place.

Best of luck in your future Max...and thank you for the memories (real or wished).

Yeah, I gathered from some of Max's posts on the VFR board that some big changes had taken place in his life recently. Sorry to see the place go. Max, I hope we'll see you around at other get-togethers and best of luck to you in future endeavors.

We all didn't buy enough coffee. I was pretty regular there during the week in the AM with my buddy Reu (big scottish guy if any of you know him) and last thursday was it I think, maybe friday. He sold the equipment and packed up, sad to see him go, I had some nice conversations with many there, I'm sure a lot of you.

    Damn. Just the economy?

While I didn't make it up there this year as many times as I did in '07 (my brother moved out of F.C.), it was always a destination when I was even remotely in the area.

    It will be missed!

WHAT??!!! OH NOES! I'z sad. I was kind of surprised that Jigamhootie was canceled the last time I asked.

Thanks Max, Angela, & Britney (sp?), and the rest of the crew who I didn't get to meet. Hope things work out and we'll have a place to meet and get caffeinated at again.

It was truly a unique and special place to hang out.

    Re: MotoHaus Coffee 2006-2008

I'll always have good memories of the place: Motohunt was fun last year (I got second place to some loser...), jiggamahooties and springamajigs (slow slalom races!), crazy rain storms, seeing all the cool bikes and cooler people. As Max said the location sucked and there were other issues but it was great while it lasted and will be missed!

    Many thanks Max!
