My guess is that the driver of the car got used to bikes taking corners in close proximity to him, and didn't expect him to cross the line. It looks like the rider hit the car at about the drivers door. The window essploded!

Actually, in looking at it he's DAMN lucky he didn't arrive sooner as he'd have hit square in the grill and probaly died or been much more injured. And, if he's have missed the car and gone behind it as bad as he overshot it he'd have gone into a tree and been much worse off as well. As funny as it sounds to say this, hitting the car a glancing blow like that might have saved his life.
Having said that......he's still a dumbass!
