When some of you get out of your basement bunkers why don't you try getting to work with the rest of America on trying to fix our problems.
Unless of course you'd prefer to just spend the next four years bitching like little girls.
It's your right I guess, but all a lot of you have ever done (in your posts and in your lives I expect) is to generate a lot of heat without any light.
I think post election day reeling is to be expected and not necessarily indicative of future anti-democrat sentiment. There is a time to mourn the loss, but then get over it.
I recall the post election sentiment in 2004 when George W. Bush was re-elected and many vocal democrats voiced the opinion that the only reason Bush won was because of the crazy, idiot, inbred Christian right. Fine, I can understand sour grapes and lashing out after a loss, that's completely ok. However it went on for a little too long and it grew to what seemed like an almost anti-Christian sentiment with many Dem's screaming that anyone who voted for Bush was an idiot and underserving of life or their opinion.
I don't think anyone is an idiot because of their political opinion. There are many other factors that come into play before I would even consider someone's political intelligence.
Disagreeance is healthy and what the country was founded on. It's not unique to one side of the aisle. Unfortunately, neither are sour grapes and sore losing. In the wake of several politcal elections I have seen many who generate heat without light and I suspect that I will continue to see it as I grow older, regardless of the stakes or winners.

Here I couldn't agree with you more! Get out and vote next time, get invovled, do something that could maybe put your vigor for politics to some good use instead of spinning your wheels and growing your e-penis.

The opposite is true as well (trickle-down economics?). How has the turn in the economy been good? Why did that happen? Don't tell me it was the middle-class that caused that.

That's a pretty funny comment coming from somebody who was lobbying for a set of hand-me-down leathers all of a couple months ago.

    Great points Cathy.
I too am very interested in who he selects for his cabinet.
That can be as big, or bigger, than the person actually in the Oval Office.

+1 McCain was a class act.
Even during the campaign, I never felt he was an enemy, just an opponent.
And an honorable one at that.

Personally I woke up this morning still employed, still owning my guns, and no Muslim terrorists had moved in next door.

Until then I'll leave you all to post your impotent rants while I try to work with those of the polital right that actually can debate a point rationally
and see if we can't work toward addressing the real issues.

And Townie, being called an idiot by you is probably the most flattering thing I've ever seen you post.
Oh my god I think I love you more than my new Prada Boots!!!! May I please violate you now??????

No matter which figure head you voted for, cause in reality that is exactly what the pres is congress runs/ruins this country at their whims and personal agenda's (an apostrophe for Ralph cause he is scaring the hell outta me this mornin) we witnessed history being made last night and I for one am proud that I was around to witness it!!!! I think my vote for who went to the senate and so on was worth more to a nation in crisis then who I voted for as the United States spokesperson.

One time I got stopped for speeding on the Colordo Utah boarder
and after a discussion with the Officer about Bannana's, pockets and glad tidings to all he let me off with a warning
and a farewell of "I am always on this strech of highway and I will be watching for you."
My response "I feel so much better knowing that you Officer Pennywise will be looking out for me."
    WAIT WHAT??!!!!!

I think that Obama's margin of victory reflects what you're saying here, but I can't help but wonder if the sentiment would still be there if McCain had won instead of Obama. These situations are always excellent tests of a person's (and party's) character and whether they can be gracious in victory and humble in defeat.

LOL, democrats were still crying that they lost and thought the vote was stolen. But I think you will see Republicans get over it pretty quick as they usually do.

But the public has voted our great nation, to get us living in an Obama nation.

I am going to miss Palin though. It won't change anything day to day until Obama starts turning us socialist.
