Be polite. Be professional. But be prepared to kill everyone you meet.
"Motorcycles tell us a more useful truth: we are small and exposed, and probably moving too fast for our own good, but that's no reason not to enjoy every minute of the ride."
~Dave Karlotski
My favorite book of his was "Terminal Man" to this day I can't believe it hasn't been made into a movie!

Saw that earlier today. Too bad. I read a few of his books ...
Didn't he just help develope some sort of 1st person shooter video game?
(Maybe just lent his name to it.)

That's too bad

Bummer! Great author, I liked his stuff, including Terminal Man.
"Crichton's personal views on the politics of science were controversial: He believed that there was a phenomenon he called "consensus science" that invented or exaggerated the existence or effects of such things as global warming and second-hand smoke.
No less a believer than Al Gore dismissed Crichton, and presumably his 2004 novel State of Fear, by telling a U.S. House committee: "The planet has a fever. If your baby has a fever, you go to the doctor.... If your doctor tells you you need to intervene here, you don't say 'Well, I read a science fiction novel that tells me it's not a problem.'"
Gore is such a dipsh!t, God I'm glad that moron didn't make it. State of Fear is a GREAT book, with a lot of REAL facts in it. Gore has made a multi-million-dollar business with his chicken-little fear-mongering. Hopefully, this new guy that was elected the other night will have enough sense to take that whole fantasy and see through it.

"...There can be no divided allegiance here. Any man who says he is an American, but something else also, isn't an American at all. We have room for but one flag, the American flag. We have room for but one language here, and that is the English language...and we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a loyalty to the American people."
