    we fought the law and the law..........

    LOST!!!!!
    that's right folks
    myself and two more CSCers went to our "final hearing" this AM and emerged victoriously for our cop did not show.
    22 over coming down 7 back in July would have cost us 6 points and $248 but seeing the case against us was bs from the get go we decided to go to court on it.
    We gambled and won!!!!
    Needless to say we're very glad that this one turned out in our favor.
    As a token of our appreciation we've decided to send a $20 dunkin donuts gift card to the boulder sheriffs office along with a picture of us and the ticket issuing officer as well as note telling him that we're all looking forward to next season

    Congrats! I beat them once when I got a bogus ticket for having my tankbag "interfere with the operation of the vehicle" and the cop no-showed, but it required 2+ hour rides each way to Bakersfield (Ugh!) and a day off work to beat it. Then I beat the 2 tickets I got iwithin 5 min. of each other by some prick base cops......when I showed from his 160'+ of skidmarks that the idiot almost killed me because he came flying up on me after I had already stopped. THAT was sweet!

    Um, probably shouldn't rub it in though, they are like elephants, and will never forget that. And if they don't take it out on you, they'll take it out on the rest of us.
